Vanessa Wood

Vanessa started at Speade in 2003 as the runner and has worked her way up to editor.

Her career has gone from strength to strength, working on a variety of commercials, promos, fashion films and art house pieces.

She was nominated for Best Editing at the MVA’s in 2009 for ‘You Came Out’ for We Have Band directed by David Wilson.

Last summer she worked on a creative collaboration with Damien Hirst for U2 when they headlined Glastonbury.

Through complete accident Vanessa has had experience on the other side of the lens too; appearing in two TV campaigns for Dove (luckily for her, only shown in Europe!) and doing voiceovers for commercials including BT and The Post Office.
