Trash Humpers opens to rave reviews at Toronto Film Fest
-
18 September 2009
This years Toronto Film Festival brought great success for Leo Scott. He was able to fly to Toronto for the world debut of Trash Humpers by Director Harmony Korine. The soon to be cult classic creepy horror made everyones rave list last weekend. Variety Magazine called it "Riveting beyond all rationality". IndyWIRE compared it to 'a first person version of “The Devil’s Rejects.” Playlist says it stands alone in its sheer originality. "It's unsettling at times, tender at others, then reminds us that beauty can be found anywhere no matter what comes before it." "creepy masks, low-grade torture, frequent public urination, senseless vandalism and the title, acted out on defenseless garbage cans, all have a confrontational panache about them to be sure. But the film is also full of poetry, dance, song and moments of aching poignancy." Look for it at your nearest Festival!
